Professor Jens R. Coorssen

With ~30 years of experience, Professor Jens R.Coorssen’s integrative research program operates at the interface of biophysics/biochemistry/electrophysiology/imaging/cell physiology. For several years his focus has been refining/optimizing and applying top-down proteomic analyses. Recent studies have focussed on identifying critical proteoforms, as biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets, in preterm labour, MS, and healthy aging.
