Dr Sina Jamali is a DECRA fellow and lecturer at UNSW. His research, underpinned by electrochemistry, aims to harness the intrinsic stochasticity in a biological system to develop new diagnostic tools with improved specificity and sensitivity. Applications span from screening at sub-cellular level to point-of-care devices and implantable biosensors.
