Research focus

Dr Bartschi’s research focuses on applying a biopsychosocial approach to psychological conditions, with a view of identifying potential treatment targets for novel therapeutics to improve quality of life. She currently leads two programs in this area; one examines the potential of cannabidiol (CBD) to act as a novel treatment for biopsychosocial changes in early-stage dementia, and the second examines biopsychosocial risk factors associated with overeating and chronic disease risk in depression.
