Research focus

Distinguished Professor Antoine Van Oijen leads a research program that revolves around the development and use of single-molecule biophysical tools to study complex biological systems. In particular, he is interested in the molecular mechanisms that underly DNA replication, the process that duplicates the cellular genome prior to cell division.
