Research focus

Associate Professor Lyn Phillipson’s research aims to support people with dementia to live well at home for longer and delay their need for residential aged care. It occurs at intersection of public health and health services research and focuses on understanding how to slow declines in the health and quality of life of community dwelling older people (>65 years) with dementia. It addressees the current gap in knowledge through building evidence about how to improve community environments, home care, and choices for people with dementia.
