Research focus

Through the implementation of a unique interdisciplinary biomedical engineering research strategy, Jeremy is innovating, leveraging and bridging Australia’s recognised strengths in materials science and engineering, and biomedical research. His team has developed an award-winning internationally recognised research program for advanced tissue engineering and electric medicine technologies (electroceuticals), applying new bio- and electro-material-based strategies(with additive manufacturing)to improve cell delivery and quality of engineered tissues, and bioelectronic devices for in vitro modelling and clinical application.
