Research focus

Associate Professor Alison Moore is a functional linguist with an additional background in public health and experience in collaborative research. She has published widely on clinical communication (including language, images, and body alignment) across contexts such as HIV medicine, cancer trials, genetic counselling, end-of-life care, IBD care, psychotherapy and surgical teamwork.
