New advisor appointed for IHMRI

To promote research integrity and help ensure compliance with the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, IHMRI has worked with the University of Wollongong’s (UOW) Research Integrity Office to secure a Research Integrity Advisor to represent our organisation.

Associate Professor Martina Sanderson-Smith has been appointed to this role and will complement the existing IHMRI researchers who act as Advisors in other areas of health and medical research.

“As a Research Integrity Advisor I am available to provide confidential advice on good or questionable research practice,” states Associate Professor Martina Sanderson-Smith.

“This includes issues around authorship, ethical research, supervision, conflicts of interest and data management. I am contactable by email or phone.”
