IHMRI was the presenting partner of the inaugural MS Wellness Run in Wollongong

This year IHMRI partnered with MS Limited to help raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis (MS), a devastating neurodegenerative disease that afflicts 25,000 Australians.

To coincide with the iconic MS Sydney to Gong Ride, this year MS Limited held the inaugural MS Wellness Run.

Team IHMRI joined over 600 competitors in the Wellness Run on a beautiful Sunday morning.

There was a 5 km and 10 km run. Diane Ly bravely took on the 10 km. Other members of Team IHMRI turned the 5 km run into a stroll, setting a new combined best of 53 minutes.

After the Run, IHMRI offered free blood pressure checks in our eye-catching marquee in the MS Wellness Zone. Almost 200 competitors from the Run and the Ride took up the offer.

Special thanks

IHMRI would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make this such a fun day.
